Architecture Design I

AD1 is one of the hardest and toughest module during this Sem, however this module really showed me how fun is architecture course should be. The projects that were given where interesting, especially P2, bamboo project. Other than that, the tutors were friendly, they gave helpful suggestion and sometimes help us to relief stress by joking around with us. This is the best module so far.

Project 1

With the title Expressions through Architecture Design Elements and Principles, this project aims to introduce a fundamental understanding of the architectural design elements and principles, processes, and approaches in generating ideas, developing design, creating geometric 2D artworks (tattoo stamp), and transforming them into 3D form (model).

Project 2

Students are to form a group and study regarding bamboo material and structure. Then, they are to design a shading structure and space for the university student's.

Project 3

In project 3, you will reflect on your shade structure and expand it to create a sensory space (20m3, plus or minus 3m3) that can anticipate and satisfy the wants and feelings of users.
